Love This Idea! Holiday Place Settings in White, Turquoise & Silver

Now that all of the holiday parties and events have come to a close for me, I'm intent on making my own family Christmas gathering a very special event. Friday's holiday brings together 12 family members traveling from as far south as Florida and as far north as New York.

I'm welcoming everyone with a fabulous brunch menu, including  mimosas, silver dollar buttermilk pancakes, maple syrup glazed bacon, scrambled eggs, and coffee cake muffins to start.

< The place settings will feature white chargers and dishes with silver pine cone place cards resting on turquoise ribbon-tied white cloth napkins.

^ The turquoise and silver combination coordinates back to our Christmas tree and is just right for morning brunch - bright and cheerful with a hint of sparkle.Hand-written place cards are perfect for the less formal brunch meal. I may even have Lady C write them and help escort guests to their seats.

< To help set the festive mood, there will be holiday music in the background and lots of twinkling lights from the tree to the table.

I am wrapping leftover swag around the inside of a square glass vase, then adding tall crystal votives in the center.

The crystal paired with the swag brings both a modern element and a natural element to the table.

Simple but never simplistic!

LOVE the candle idea- so tasteful and you'd be able to use it all January-long too!
