Inspiration Board : Holiday Soiree
Can you design a party around a chandelier? After months of scouring Manhattan for a dining room chandelier, I finally found the perfect one. It was a late night at ABC Carpet & Home and the sales staff was beginning to put out the holiday ornaments and Christmas displays. The transformation was magical.
Once back in Baltimore and waiting for the custom crystal chandelier to arrive, I began getting even more excited about the holiday season and decided to plan a small cocktail party. What could be better than an evening of good friends, good food and lots of champagne? I gathered a few of my favorite winter inspirations including my love of snow, mercury glass ornaments, and the ceiling at Grand Central Station (travel memories!) and fashioned a festive holiday soiree inspiration board.
The elegant event was the perfect kick-start to the holiday cocktail party circuit — pictures from the actual party coming soon!
