{Event Update} Oxfords & Oysters 2010 : Party Pictures

The Event: the first annual Oxfords & Oysters bash in support of Oyster Recovery Partnership, a vital non-profit organization dedicated to sustaining the Chesapeake Bay’s oyster population.
Special Guests: Representatives from the ORP were on hand to make sure the raw bar's oyster shells were collected for recycling and to educate guests about how the Shell Recycling Alliance can make a significant impact on the health of the Bay.

The Venue: Little Havana
The Setup: Guests enjoyed a raw bar of amazing oysters, cocktails in commemorative cups and passed hors d'oeuvres on the patio underneath bluebird skies and abundant sunshine while taking in majestic views of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Inside, the J. Brown Jewelers' pearl and diamond earrings drawing captured everyone's attention while Burnt Sienna rocked and had everyone dancing.

We'd also like to thank the following companies for making the 2010 Oxfords & Oysters VIP bag such a highly coveted item. Preppy Monogrammed Gifts monogrammed the canvas O&O boat totes for us and we filled them with a variety of deluxe products and gift certificates (retail value, $480+) from the following sponsors and contributors:

How much money went to the charity?
The first Oxfords & Oysters event supporting the Oyster Recovery Partnership was a great success. There will be ongoing fund-raising and awareness efforts on behalf of the ORP leading up to Oxfords & Oysters 2011, at which time we will be announcing the money raised through our efforts.
FYI...for every $100 raised, 4,000 baby oysters will be planted directly into the Bay!
