Win a Chef's Expressions Wine Dinner + A Room At The Gramercy Mansion!

 Congratulations to Laura Alima, Marketing Director and one of our friends at Chef's Expressions. And, most recently, nominated as one of Baltimore's 35 under 35, a title awarded to the all-star fund-raisers fighting Cystic Fibrosis. Laura successfully met her initial fund-raising goal and is now looking to go above and beyond. Chef's Expressions & Gramercy Mansion have pitched in to support her with an incredible raffle incentive.

Take a chance and help Laura raise even more funds to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation when you enter to win a Chef's Expressions Wine Dinner Table of Eight and a Room at the Gramercy Mansion! {Value: $1250}

At $20 per raffle ticket and only 250 available, your chances of winning are great!  Tickets can be purchased online at Laura's personal fund-raising page; make sure to  mention 'Wine Raffle" in the comments section when you make your raffle purchase.

The lucky winner will be announced on December 1st -- good luck!

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). In the 1950s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school. Today, advances in research and medical treatments have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults with CF. Many people with the disease can now expect to live into their 30s, 40s and beyond.  Learn more about the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation >

A First Look At Some Of The Fun From "A Night Out At Silo Point"

What an enormous success!

Many thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday to "A Night Out At Silo Point" benefiting Moveable Feast.

I can't wait to see the official party images which will be on the way soon, courtesy of Anne Sachs, one of our favorite photographers (Artful Weddings).

Anne was on hand to capture the fabulous crowd and the fabulous views throughout one of downtown Baltimore's most exclusive addresses. Make sure to sign our mailing list to get a first look of the official party pics.

I was able to take a few personal pics in between mingling, dancing in the penthouse and dining on goodies from Chef's Expressions, Blue Hill Tavern and the Wine Market.

One of my favorite memories of the evening came when Chase Hostler, our celeb go-go dancer from Manhattan, drew the raffle winner for our midnight Grand Prize.

Congratulations to Trevor Villet who won a very sexy stay-cation, Baltimore-style. Sky Blue Events will meet with Trevor to custom-design a weekend itinerary for him plus a guest. We'll keep you posted on all the little luxuries we pick out to personalize Trevor's weekend (including a stay at the Hotel Monaco) and help him celebrate and take in the city in style.

Oh...the possibilities! We can't wait to design something fun and fabulous for Trevor. Stay tuned!

About Town : Gramercy Mansion, Studio 921, Sima's and more...

M + Me + my NY clients: Jessica and Erik I had the pleasure of taking two of my out of town wedding clients, Jessica and Erik, around Baltimore last weekend. The couple traveled from New York to visit their ceremony, reception, hotel and rehearsal dinner venues. I also arranged for Jessica to meet with potential hair stylists, makeup artists and manicurists that will play a part in the wedding weekend.

In addition to getting pampered and feeling beautiful, it was important to be well-fed. One of the highlights of their trip included a chance to enjoy a Chef's Expressions "Pinot-Inspired" wine dinner. Six courses of deliciousness paired with  Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir at the Gramercy Mansion in Stevenson. Favorites from the evening ranged from an oyster stew, pork and veal sausage with fennel and mint, and crunchy duck lollipop to chocolate hazelnut soup,  pumpkin cheesecake lollipops and gingersnaps.  Jessica and Erik were bowled over by the food and thrilled that their guests will get to experience such a similarly robust menu at the wedding.

The busy, appointment-packed schedule included: a trip to see Emily at Studio 921 for a manicure, a visit to Sima's to meet with Leah who will hopefully be creating Jessica's two hair styles for the wedding and a visit to Madeleine of La Papillon for a revamped skincare routine and makeup ideas for the big day. Gorgeous!
