April's Underground Dining Event
Our April underground dining event with Chef Beej Flamholz took place in Mt. Washington Mill, a former garden and landscape decor retail space with lovely exposed brick walls and high ceilings. The space was flanked with beautiful cherry blossom trees. As the wind blew, the delicate blooms fluttered to the ground, creating snow drift-like piles all around. Inspired, we nestled the evening's candles in the plush pink carpet of blooms to greet guests upon entering the mill, ready for the evening's culinary adventure...

A clear winner: classic black and white damask patterned linens paired with contemporary ghost chairs from Select Event Rentals.

Chef Beej Flamholz's multi-course menu included Trickling Springs butter braised Maine lobster with caramelized ramps, wild mushroom and morel broth and a basil pesto; and, a goat cheese and mascarpone cheesecake with Mr. Frye's Rhubarb-crushed Goulibeur shortbread and 25 year Balsamic.
